Wanted to see if there is a article or somewhere of installing the shifter link.. or replacing them. searched but could not find

Auto, 5 Speed? Tranny side or gear shifter side?

If it's a 5 speed, on the tranny, you slide the slim part of the linkages through the brackets (One linkage is longer than the other, and is obvious what goes where).

Then, you will need to insert the metal bracket over the linkage, on the side of the bracket that's toward the front of the car. This secures it.

Put the end of the linkage over the transmission shifting linkage, and secure with a dowel pin.

I can provide pictures tomorrow.

its 5 speed gst.. ordered part.. getting it thursday from dealer.. so my car is just there.. only mode of transportation.. so it sucks.. but thanks...
