I pick the car up an it has lowering springs an it sits way to low where I live. How do change the springs out with the factory springs. Is it pretty simple? Also does anyone have pics of their factory springs if u have them laying around. The guy have me the springs but not sure if they for the xR or not. The car is a 95 talon tsi fwd

Very simple to do the rear ones should take no more that 20 minits and fronts a bit harder to do. Use some pb blaster to make things easier

Well i found a set of struts n spring that I'm just gonna swap over. If the lowering springs that's on it wasn't so low I'd leave them but he'll I can't even stick toe of my boot under front bumper LOL.

Appreciate the help. This site is very helpful to me since I'm a newbie to dsms

Even though you got a set of struts and springs for the swap, +1 on the spring compressor. I got one from harbor freight cheap. Never had a problem with it.
Installed agx's and some tein s tech on my old 1G with them.

Is there difference in rear struts n spring from a non turbo. Junk yard don't have any rear struts out 9f a turbo eclipse /talon

I haven't used spring compressors in years. For a relevant comparison using spring compressors to remove a strut is like loading a Cross bow in order to clean it. The springs are now in a lethal amount of compression in the compressors

Yes non turbo and turbo 2g front wheel drive cars have the same suspension
