Okay, I know this is a question not many will understand...
Whats the best way to keep the turbo from building boost? Not all the time. Only for really bad weather. Last winter I can't tell you how many times I wished the car wouldn't spool. Particularly on the highway. Coming into boost usually makes the tires break loose with any snowpack. Trying to pass a Semi, can really suck...
Anyhow, I was thinking about a residual pressure valve set a few pounds below the W/G spring rate. Possibly using a 12v line switch between MBC and residual valve, or just keep the valve in the glove box. Would this work to keep spool up down? Would it harm anything? Is there a better way?
Thanks for any help to this odd question.
