I tryed to drop my tranny yesterday. I took off all the bolts around the tranny and the two on top that connect to the braket. I also took off the speed sensor, the other sensor, clutch line and the shift lines. The top of the tranny is open about 1/2" now but the bottom will not move. If I jack up the car the whole engine moves. It's an AWD 90...

Did you get the tranny bolt that runs opposite to the others, under the starter? A lot of people forget this one.

where exactly are these bolts at? I got all the ones on top. all the ones on the top, and the a few underneath. The transfer case is still bolted on but im swapping tranny & tcase for tranny and tcase so I was just gunna drop it, slide the shaft out and swap. From what I gatherd the tcase could come right down with the tranny. If anyone could make a drawing or soemthing that would be sweet, im hurtin for a car right now I'm so desperate im dropping a tranny with a badly worn 2nd gear synco (wont even go in) =/ my poor dsm
