i looked but i cant find anything, but i want to put a manual shift knob on my auto for asthetics, but i cant due to the fact my car wont turn off with the button depressed, i need a way to disable that so i dont need it, brakeless shifting is what im after, any insight would be greatly appreciated

here is a page that say and shows how to do it. its being done on a honda civic but im sure its the same or nearly same concept. (it was one that i knew off the top of my head) hope it helps atleast somewhat. but also youd have to be careful with that. dont want to accedently put it into park while your going down the highway or something...

If it is possible for you to buy an aftermarket shifter with allen heads, turn one of the heads where the lockout arm is. Keep in mind that this will never stay tight, So good luck .
