Okay I'm lost. I'm wanting to build my 98 gst to about 400 hp but still want my ac and reliability I just Need a little guidance. Will a stock bottom end be ok?what cams/injectors/fuel pump do I need and this will be with a big 16g and anything else I might need. where do I get everything? thank you in advance for your help.

400 whp with A/c and no overheating issues sounds fun. At least down here in the south where temps can reach 110 for 60 days straight. Im planning 300 whp with custom SMIC so i can still get adequate airflow into the condenser and Radiator. Heat management has and will always be important to me after owning a rx7.

Okay so I've been looking into the hx35 sounds to be perfect but I've got a couple issues. First I can't find the real thing bran new I only come across Japan made look a likes so where can I get a real one that is new? The second is I see people using the forced performance manifold the thing Is they have to dent the water pipe for the turbo to fit is there another way around this issue? The third will it bolt up to the manifold with no issue or is there modification needed? Or in other words I have no clue how to find or bolt up this turbo. Help me out please thanks.

Find someone with a dodge diesel i believe 199....3?..4? That is willing to sell it or look on CL. I got my holset for 200 with NO shaft play. And that turbo will make LOADS of power. 400-450 is where that beast is happiest. And talk about a quick spool...

I will give you what I have set up to this point.
Built engine like the one you are planning on doing.
Pistons\rods ect
2 wallys (you can probably get away with 1)
HKS 272 (you might not need them)
Front Mount (int temp never go above 120)
Use your 98 ecu with ceddy mods and open port 2 to tune
I run a gt35r but you can get to your goal with an fpgreen or a 57 trim turbo.
If not an fp you will need a manifold for it.
Fluydine Radiator
ACT steet/strp clutch.
Fuel Rail
Afpr

With what I just told you my GST hits 430 whp at 25psi and is daily driven without drivabily problems.
My a/c is cold and Temp never goes abocve 180 with the ac on and I live in Puerto Rico.

Other have said this before but here is no traction once you doing over 400 whp on a fwd so have that in mind.

I drive the car 100 every day and the car drives very well.

Hope this helps
