How To Align Hole In Block And Hole In Balance Shaft Race / Bearing

I am rebuilding engine and currently trying to replace race for both balance and counterbalance shaft ...I believe one of them called oil pump shaft... ??? correct me if am wrong.

well these new races have holes and inner race on oil pump shaft is hard to align with hole in block... is there any trick to it?

I repeat...I am trying to align hole on shaft inner race to ....hole on block...

use a marker. Mark the block hole location, mark the side of the bearing, use the proper bearing installer.

What is a proper bearing installer ? I was using an socket with extension and hammer it..

If that's how you want to do it, go for it; just don't damage the bearing, or get the socket stuck. I use the OEM Mitsubishi Miller specialty tools - MD998373-01 is what you would use.
