I am considering parting out my 1995 eclipse GST 5spd. It is in great shape, but tons of stupid shit keeps going wrong. yesterday my fuse(underhood) melted ....yes melted down and took the fuse bay with it. I am wondering if i can get $2000 for it without rims, radio and block and heads. can it be done or should I try to sell every last part. please hit me back with a ball park range I don't need people who know nothing about this to tell me how much its worth. so serious talk only please :thumb:

If you part it out, youd could end up making some good money. If it has all the options, everyone is always looking for trannys, sunroof, doors, seats, etc etc. Honestly id try to sell the car as a whole tho b4 you start parting it out. Take the rims and radio out and sell the car as is for 2500 bucks depending on the mileage. I dont think thats too much to ask.

I need more info. If I part the car out sell my rims and stereo can I possibly pull 3 grand out of it. It has 210k but it has no dents, and the hole interior is perfect ex. the driver seat it has every avail. option also leather. and the block and heads are almost sold. but I still have, turbo radiator, intercooler(stock) and all the piping(stock) +a blitz super soun BOV. so can I get $3000.00 or not?

well if its in good condition then try for more around the 5g mark. if they say its high miles, tell them thats on the body, the engine and tranny were replaced 60k ago.(of course clean it to make it look so), i think some riceboy would gaffle up a turbo eclipse for that much. there was one selling for 11 at a used car lot around here that was all beat up, and would hit fuel cut at 2k rpm's. i finally found a good deal on mine 7500. even n/t gs are going for 11 around here.

awsome idea :shhh: , you think i can pull that off. Ya I get fuel cut at 4000 or so but if you play with the throtle a little it goes away and takes off. do you think a fuel pump(walbro 190) and filter will help me.
