How much for a 2g?

I've been looking for a 2g GSX/TSI shell and i was wondering what they go for. As of right now my car is driveable but I have so much rust that my shock tower is sure to give way.

Try ebay and all the car selling site! You should be able to get one for 1-2k

I am also looking for a 2g GSX/TSi shell, Ive looked on ebay, autotrader, cars.com and others and still havent found any thing. I found a motor so all I need is a shell.

I don't know if you guys have it as good as I do in Utah, but there are lots of 1G AWDs in junkyards around here. Many of them are fairly complete as well [more than likely the "glass tranny" deal, and the owners decided it wasn't worth it to keep]. On one occasion, I went to a local yard to find a Panhard Bar/Watt's linkage for my Rx7, and saw not one, not two, but 7 AWD DSMs in a neat little row. Only 5 were salvageable, the other two looked like they lost a fight with a semi or a large oak tree.

Now that I think about it, there's a fair amount of 2Gs here ... maybe I can get OEM bumpers and skirts for cheaper than I thought.

But yeah, I guess what I typed above can be summed up into three words: look in junkyards.

I got my 2g tsi shell for 1500 with everything including tranny and t-case...and it didnt have a radiator so he gave me 100 bucks back...(he thought he had it) just have to look around...I have a 1g shell I wanna get rid of fairly cheap pm me...
