how much timing to set with megasquirt?

I'm starting to tune my car and wondering how much time should I have while in boost. Right now I have 6* at 17psi(224kpa) 5500 rpm. 12* at idle 1100 (70 kpa). Most timing I have is at 3300rpm/90kpa and that's cruise. I checked against other tunes but I would like second oppion. The tune that came with it form symtech lad was off the chart( their base map). Any help would be useful
