How much should I expect to pay to have a Primered Bumper painted?

I am looking at an 97-99 Eclipse bumper on Ebay that will already be primered. I just want to walk this into a body shop and get it painted with OEM paint color. I really don't plan to keep the car that long, but do want to colors to match well.

Also, any reason why I can't ask for a small amount of paint to use for touch up (I can't see why not).

Take it to a body shop and get an estimate. Prices vary by region and body shop. I know here in NJ i had two quotes, one for 600 to repaint bumper, hood, and the front side fenders, another place quoted like $1,200 hahahaROFL . i would imagine it would cost around $300 for just the bumper.

I think it would be next to nothing if you just want the bumper painted. If you have the bumper off to i think it will help cutting costs without masking or anything. I'm not sure but id assume it would be under $100 with clear coated.

They wanted 450$ for 2 coats of factory silver and a clear.
I know which ebay bumpers you're talking about, the sanded/primed black ones, they're nice.

I called like 5 places before I just decided to do it myself. They ranged for the most part around 180-250 bucks. That was with it off for base and clear coat. I would expect that would be around the normal price most places. I got quoted from chain places and then just smaller local body shops but all were still pretty close in pricing.

Depends on the quality of the shop. If you just took the bumper in to get painted the color probably won't match the rest of your car.
