Ok here is the deal, I have a 95 AWD talon that never seen a dyno and I was wondering if anybody with mph close to my could tell me how much power I'm making at the wheels..
11.97at119.06 with 3280lb(with driver).. thanks...I figure around 420@wheel???????

love these questions.

post your slip, that'll help a bit.

That's a good run! I'm curious to see the slip also. However, all that's needed to get a HP estimate is the weight, trap speed, and ET. Take that info to DSM.org/tools/calchp.html and see what you get. 420 is a good guess :)

WHP on what kind of dyno? The damned things are all different anyway.

A dynojet would probably put you in the low 400's. Dyno dynamics would put you around 330-350.

I would guess 350 whp. What mods do you have, what turbo and boost were you running?

When you say 50 trim doesn't that cover many turbo's? What about the "HOT" side wheel? I'm trying to educate myself on some of the parts I am not familiar with. I just got an EVO 16G with manfold and 02 housing, all ported. The turbo flows 550 CFM @ 15 PSI. I think the 50 trims flow 690 CFM @ 15 PSI, correct? 11's is quick!

Paul how quick does it spool, say like at what rpm do you reach 20 psi. Oh, what injector size? Mark
PS: 11's is impressive. I've ridden in a mid 12 sec. ride and that was just about scarry!!

I'm using 650cc at 45psi(fuel pres) with a rewired 190 pump. I get 20psi at around 3900 rpm..afret a while you get used to the speed and you don't feel that speed. :)

Paul thanks for answering all the questions! I enjoy the power my 14B puts out with the GM MAF & Translator. I'm hoping the EVO 16G will be a noticeable gain without losing much as far as spooling goes. Mark

No, he is probably closer to 400 whp, maybe a bit over. That's a pretty quick trap speed (1/4 and 1/8th) and not a light car.

I did use the 1/4 calculator but it gives me around 430wh. thats little high??..I had the car on a scale few times and its always around 3280-3300 depending how much gas is in..
