How much oil in tranny when changing?

In the shop manual it says when changing the tranny oil to only put in 2 quarts because not all of it comes out when you drain it. and the capacity is 2.8. What do you guys put in when you change it?

Make sure the car is level on 4 Jack Stands & put it in until it runs out the Plug on the Front Side - that's what that Plug is for.

If you don't do it that way either grab yah hold of someones or a shops lift for about 10-15 mins or make sure it's on level ground.
