In the near future I will eventualy be BOOSTING. What i am wondering is how much of a power loss I will get if I rebuild the bottom end with 8.7:1 pistons? It will be atleast a year before i boost.

Not much, maybe like 10-20 hp at most. There's like a table that shows how much loss there is but I can't find it. I had 8:6 pistions n/a for quite awhile, the difference wasn't very noticable.

So it won't hurt the motor at all to run the low compression? Also What would be an awsome FUEL setup?

go to 2gnt.com and just look under the tuning and fuel forums.....all you will se is megasquirt this, mega squirt that. So it sounds like that is a good one to go with. (all though not recommended for beginner tuners.)

SAFC+SFMU= okay fuel set up

Hahnracecraft makes the porterfuler set up which has an 8injector set up with the extra 4 only coming on under boost.

Then there is your E-mange, AEM EMS standalone, and anything else you can find on efi101.com

Just keep searching, you'll find the one for your price and capabilities.
