Just need to see if anyone know what a 4g63 weights. If anyone know what it would weigh with everything! Trying to get a shipping qoute and dont want the fedex guy to yell at me.:coy: They can be scary you know!:boring:

I orderd a fully built jdm motor and shipping wieght was just a little over 400lbs.. And about 140 for shipping.

Do you happen to know which company shipped it? Fedex wants $700 for a online qouteOMG I will call them on monday to make sure. Hell thats more then I'm selling the motor for!

The cheapest route is to use a freight company. I bought a complete 4g63 from a semi-known girl on this site and had it freighted to me for about $120. The semi took it to their "hub" about 15 miles away and I went and got it from there.

Use your yellow pages, or google to search for "freight CITY STATE" and just call around and tell them you are needing an engine transfered from A to B and most likely you'll get a discount for being a first time customer, and make sure you tell them what class it is (engine I believe is 82), and the weight which for a basic long block should be about 280 lbs or so...
