I know there's a frequency limit with the VPC I guess where it stops adding fuel after about 25 psi. I've searched on just about every forum but finding nothing (even the VPC Yahoo groups section). Anyone know how much Bushur was running??? Sure it has to be more than 25 psi and if so, trying to find out how he got away with it. Not sure if it's just a MAP sensor or if it's something within the VPC itself. Anyone know?

When your tuning with a VPC you really need AFC as well. When I was running a VPC,AFC combo I Had all the knobs on the VPC maxed out and then didnt touch it anymore. I tuned only using the AFC. I was able to run 30+ pounds of boost although you do start losing some tunability after around 29 pounds. Remember Curt Brown used to go 9.40's running 35+ psi, with a VPC AFC combo.

Well, I'm wanting to run VPC/GCC combo......for now. Same setup as Buschur, but can't seem to find any information on how much boost he runs or anything about the VPC and running over 25 psi safely. And unfortunately, the search engine doesn't seem to go back to the 90's.

I would just E-mail him and ask. He's a friendly guy and he's always answered my questions.

Didn't know there was a Buschur forum. Thanks for the info. I'll look there.

Edit: Didn't find anything there either. I e-mailed him and will post an answer if I get one.

You might want to consider going another route. I believe the map sensor is limited to around 30 psi.
