How much boost does a stock T25 put out?

Really wrong.

..... Wrong.

Nope, Wrong.

YOUR RIGHT! There's still hope that some people still know there basics!!!!

A stock HEALTY running 2g is factory set at 14 PSI.
A stock HEALTY running 1g is factory set at 12 PSI.

*** From many different reasons including air Temp, alltitude, age, leaks, ect... they may loose a psi or two.

Its been proven time and time again. Take your DSM, clean your intercooler, do a boost leak test, and get a tune up (plugs, wires, air filter). It WILL read 14 psi (2g) and 12 psi (1g) on your boost gauge.

The archives don't lie guys and gals. It only takes a little time to search.

What is the stock boost pressure on a [DSM]?
Many questions of this type can be answered by the following references:

A search of the Club DSM archives at Talon Digest Archive Search (alternate link here);
Referring to the factory shop manual;
Looking at the factory brochures;
Reading the owners information manual.
1G cars have a stock boost pressure of 8-12 psi. 2G cars have 10-15 psi. The service manual allows lower pressures, but those are rarely seen in actual vehicles.

I am not wrong. Like you also mentioned in your post, results also vary depending on temperature and altitude. I live in florida. At the time i tested out my t25 to see how much it would boost, the temperature outside was in the mid-to-low 70s, i had an autometer 30-30 boost gauge, and a mbc. I did a few test runs and i managed to hold only 11 psi on all my runs.
In the first 2 runs i spiked 18 psi and held 11 afterwards so i stopped, readjusted the knob, went for another run, spiked 16 and held 11 again, and turned it down just a notch to 15, once again spiked 15 and held 11.
Results vary on every car and area. Im not trying to start a war, just didnt like the fact you said i was wrong and it isn't true nor false. It is all relative and results vary. 14 psi is what it is believed to boost stock, but in reality everything starts to change with determining factors included.
EDIT - Also i forgot to mention the fact that at the time, previous to this test, i had cleaned all my intercooler pipes and smic with gas real good until the gas came out clear, and i had 0 boost leaks.

That MBC defeats the purpose of answering the question regarding stock boost pressure.

As Alex mentioned, it will vary by car, just like horsepower and torque numbers will vary from car to car, even right off the assembly line. However, assuming things are working properly, stock boost should be from 13-14psi on a 2g equipped with a T25. Not that it matters, since we all crank the boost up on the little hairdryer anyway.

OP, get an aftermarket boost gauge. Asking us how much boost you're probably running is like asking us how much horsepower you have.
