How many washer when wastegate shimming?

I have a ported evo 3 that falls way off up top so im shimming it, my question is even with one washer i have to pull a bit to get it to hook up to flapper arm. Is this an issue? i was originally going to add 2 on each, but i will really have to give the wastegate a tug to get it to fit then. I dont see how if the wastegate is already partially extended how it will be able to push the flapper all the way open? Any suggestions or how many do u have?

2 or 3 between housing and gate actuator on each bolt should be enough.

Where are you sourcing your boost controller from? Does it have a bleed hole?

I have 3. But I just bought a Tial 38mm cause I am sick of screwing with the int WG.

I have 5 on each bolt. Thats as much that will fit. It still works like ass and only gets me the boost I want by making it creep there since it no longer opens all the way. Im just saving for one of the new tial 38's. Internals suck.

I have 3 washers on a ported Big 16g with a 34mm flapper, it holds 21 psi all the way to redline with 272's.
