Air Force here..I am in charge of both computer networks here...LAME job but it will be good money when i get out. It sux having a car as your hobby too. I have a JDM 6 bolt and tranny sitting in my dorm room and the first shirt (commanders right hand man) wants it out!! Says its a fire hazard cuz of the liqiuds although it is completely drained. Computer geeks dont understand. :thumbdown

Here, the rules are 'no car parts at all' in your rooms..I got in trouble with the shirt because I had my fawking headlights in my room We also can't have members of the opposite sex stay overnight in our rooms...and the only pets we're allowed are damn fish. (not even ill-tempered ones!)...GHEY. So much BS in the military...

The paper I signed with the rules said nothing about car parts in your room. It just says you cant work on your car in the parking lot. Thats at this base though. We can have chicks stay overnight with us too. What base are you at??

Just cover it with some dirty clothes, or stick it in your wall locker
We can't have pets or "guests" either, but people seem to ignore the "guest" rule fairly often around here...

Haha oh yeah, people don't really follow those rules...my roomate has a snake, a lizard, (had) a tarantula, (had) a scorpion, (had) rats, he has fish....He keeps all those illegal animals in his closet when he's not home.

When my sister visited here, she slept in my bed while I slept on the couch in the dayroom. I was worried that we'd have room inspections, with my luck...that would've been great. I would've been known as the sister fu(ker :thumbdown

If they asked who she was, just deny any relation
And if they mention that you said she was your sister, just say that you always thought of her that way, even though it's not technically the case.
Or, if you are on a low floor, just jump out the window....

Ah yes...back in the day when I lived in the dorms....um. Last year. At Travis you could have "visitors" but they couldn't stay for more than 48hrs. And about the car stuff....Well I had a full RnR turboback leaning against the wall when I had a dorm inspection. Thankfully I set it up so my webcam would cover my entire room and I would monitor it from work. I saw my shirt taking a look at it and I called my answering machine while he was in the room. Proceeded to freak him out my telling him not to touch that, stay away from my porn stash, and dont mind wing commander's daughter passed out in the bathroom. He saw me later and was all amazed. Never had a problem if I left "valuables" (like change) out again. Stopped me when I tried installing a remote lock on the door though. Another case of the man keeping me down

I was an Air Force brat, dad served 24yrs. Always was fascinated by the jets at Eglin. Decided I wanted to work on those for a living. Now I'm an F-16 crew chief in the AF. Cannon sucks, but at least my dorm has yet to be inspected.

heh I'm guessing you were in good standings with your shirt?? Takes some balls to mess with the shirt like that. We just got a new one...dude's a mean lil fu(ker. He fu(king took BAS away from my shop & another one. We had them because our shop's too far away from the chow hall, so this way we could bring our own lunch. The airmen in these shops have been getting BAS for a long ass time, and he just goes & takes it from us because "As long as there's a chow hall, you don't need BAS"... His nickname's Bulldog

I know I mentioned earlier that I was enlisting in the Coast Guard. My dad was an officer (went to the academy and everything), and made it to commander. He's a little bit dissapointed that I'm just enlisting, but I need to get my foot in the door. I'll apply to the academy in a year or two. College IS important, kids.

army (63W) wheel vehicle repairer... right now stuck on col. driver detail cause i'm the only freakin expendable soldier with a tmp lisence... this detail blows... well least i get to spend all day od 2ners... tryin to reclass to MI when i reenlist... maybe linguaist... and fawk man i got two steelies with tires in my room a head light, had a turbo up to o2 housing a bunch of oil lines and god knows how many more parts in my room... hahaha my motto "u can say whatever u want... i'm a do what i'm a do anyway"

I was discharged after 4 months in Iraq because of asthma related problems, which was bull shit cuz i needed a waver to get in to begin with. Kinda just threw it in my face for no reason after bein in for over a year. But hey they made my car what it is now by paying me cuz they "disabled" me wahah, oh well, College'n car is all i do now.

If you are trade in your gibill for the va eduaction program, they pay ALL tuition, books, any tools needed, plus pay you 900 a month, and they will do this for the rest of your life no matter how manny degrees you get. Head down to your va hospital for more info. I'm trying to get it right now(waiting on my disability claim, my left ankle points 90 degrees to the right.)

Yeah I got something called the "Rehabilitation Program" which basicly in terms mean, they are putting me threw school to be any type of profession i want. I already got accepted and just have to complete 2 terms to active the payment process an stuff.. Have to be at school full time tho . Still gettin used to that =/
