How hard to find parts?

I have an opportunity to trade my 92 talon fwd for a 91 galant vr4. Mine has the basic upgrades and his is bone stock. Has a slight grind going into 1st and 3rd which seems to be synchros and not a adjustment issue.

First off, would you trade? Both need a little work but mine has many more new parts?

The only thing im afraid of is parts being hard to find? From the brief research ive done I believe the transmission and drivetrain is the same as a 1g eclipse/talon?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

driveline is the same as dsm mid 91-94. correct me if im wrong and thats a good trade.

I would make the trade, gallant vr4's are hard to come by. There production numbers are much lower, and a fully restored vr4 is very valuable. The parts that may have issues finding are exterior pieces, but you could use parts from a eagle 2000 for that.

Actually even fully restored they really aren't worth anything right now.

If you feel comfortable being able to drive the car with little problem jump on it. I have my talon as my race car, and my GVR4 as my DD (Bone stock, 0 mods at all done) It's a great, fun car. Especially with working 4ws. Parts really aren't THAT hard to find unless you want to put JDM bumpers and shit like that on. Factory parts aren't bad, and most of the engine parts are interchangeable.
