I have this crazy idea to do the FTO swap i absoulutly do not want to put on a body kit but i love the look of the fto i figured it could be done if i had the headlights fenders and front bumper pretty much the whole front end so what is your imput on it i dont really know what i want to do bc this is my first dsm im used to hondas and i really dont want to make this one tacky i have performance but id like to do something else help me out guys and gals ..

Looks as though its really expensive and hard i really like the headlight i dont plan on painting it a another color i like it the way it is i just recently had the whole bottem end rebuilt so im still recuping from that one it was costly since i dont know what im doing

It would be hard and expensive not to mention stressful, yo each his own though. anything can be done really. these cars are not like the Honda's you are used to, there isn't some magic swap kit something just because you want it.
hope your good at metal work and know how to really measure ever single thing., or just have deep pockets. good luck if you really wanna do it.

That wasn't rough. Jesus, give the gal a break instead of insulting him with remarks like that. Just answer the damn question. :nono:

Yea when you do a front end swap on any car it is going to be a bi*** the unexperienced body guy shouldn't do it if he doesn't want to shell out money and time.
But it can be done.

:D

IMAO i would just leave it as is, if the car in your avatar is what it looks like.

Here's a stupid question what is a FTO???

It was a car Mitsubishi produced from 94 to 2000 that was sold only in Japan but eventually made its way to dealerships in the UK, Ireland and New Zealand. Front engine, Front wheel drive 2 door/.

i dont have a problem with it being a gst i have quite a few mods under the hood and its a convertable so im cool with it being it i just thought of maybe doing a conversion to the front

If you want to keep yourself busy then get rid of the Altezzas, AEM sticker, put your upper timing belt cover on and get some coilovers. :thumb:
