HOW do you test a coil pack and the wire that connects to it

my car has no spark checked the plugs, and tested the wires now trying to see if its the coil or something further down the line any suggestions on how to test the coil or to test if theres power going to the coil?

unplug the wire to the coil you want to check hold it close whil some one starts it you will see a spark if its good be carefull it might shock you hold it with a glove or rag

How about testing the ignition control module is there a test for that, because every time i looked for a test for it, it came up with a test for the back side of the coil. Any Ideas
