How Do I Make A Logger Cable

I have a palm IIIxe and mmcd and cant get any signal from my car so I think its the cable, i dont have time to order a new one cause i really need my car up and running this week.If you can help me out or point me in the right direction that would be awsome

What do you think is wrong with the cable? Is their power going to the logger? I had the problem once where my power cable was just loose in my fuse box. Check that first.

If it still doesn't work, I wouldn't personaly recomend making your own cable, but if you insist, strip the outer plastic on the cable & make sure you mark which wire goes where. Pull on every cable that goes into the plug first to make sure none are loose or that their is no freys in the cable.

My personal opinion, go to any electronics store, you can usualy pick one up. I got mine off ebay for $1.

Your car won't run if the mmcd isn't hooked up?

I just did a turbo swap and installed a safc and i need the logger to figure it all out. my car runs with it, it just dosnt read anything coming from the car. but i really need this car running by the week end

Is this the correct wiring for the auto-on feature? Or is it another way?

To the best of my knowledge no one has posted the auto-on schematics here.

In the versions I've seen, auto-on adds a SCR to ground the mode pin (10) when the PC or PDA start transmitting.
