How can I change my AC Climate controls? Interior Help?

Car is a 1995 Rs


Ok So the current AC Climate Control that I have is all black. Non of the little pictures show. It was spay painted by the previous owner. I Changed the double triangle button one as well, and it wasn't really difficult.

When I went to the junkyard and removed this AC Control, it wasn't really difficult. I want to instal the new one on my car without breaking anything.

Do I really need to remove the Dashboard and lower the glovebox?
I was looking for a guide on here, but didn't really find one.

Can anyone guide me on how to change Ac Controls?

It's been a really long time since I have taken one out, but it is kind of a pain to get out IIRC. The dash does not need to come off. But the radio bezel, and center kick panels will need to come off. Unscrew the HVAC, then you will have to remove the cables and lights from it. Then you will have to finagle it out of there.
