How are motego mr 717in rims wrapped in kuhmo 911's?

I was just wondering if anyone had any experience with either of these two products or both together? How is it for a handeling setup? The car is going to be a daily driver and it will be seeing the rain and the snow, so it has to stick well even in crappy conditions.


Also I was thinking about maybe doing some other mods to the suspension but don't know what I should do. I definately don't want to spend anymore than $600, and was thinking possibly $300 towards kyb agx struts. Suggestions?

motegs are known for heavier wheels but damn they dont bend at all I had a set drove off road, pot holes no problems.

I've never heard of a Kumho 911. If you mean the 711s, then I would not drive with these on snow. Same goes for 712s and MXs.

I am not defending Motegi, but I hit a crater at 60-65mph on the highway and I pulled over thinkling I would have a bented/crack and blown tire and it was fine.

I have since installed new tires...personally, I did not see any cracks and I did a runout check using a Hunter GSP 7000 and they were still true.

I have sold a ton of Motegis and do not recall taking any MR7s back for structural defects.

I am not a huge AR fan, but for the huge number of their wheels I sell, I have a suprisingly very low number of structural returns.

I have bent ADRs, they are by no means the greatest.....and they only have a 1 yrs structural....unlike Motegi's lifetime warranty.

Now you can spend huge money on wheel, but it doesn't mean your going to get quality. Go buy a chrome MOMO and get a wavey finish that looks like crap and peels in 6 months. I have taken a bunch of chrome returns in MOMO.
