How accurate is a palm data logger

Ok guys quick question i need answered before I start freaking out. 1G turbo First I have my balanceshafts removed on a new rebuild so I decided to hook up the logger tonight and was messing with it finally got it to work and then looked at my oil pressure on the logger it read 5.5psi on the logger when hot my oil is in the break in period i know the removal was done correctly and everything the oil is a bit thin i used 10-30 in it and i need to change the oil its pretty thin rightnow (changing tomorrow) So are the palm loggers pretty accurate or no

I'm not sure whether MMCD logs oil pressure accurately. I would advise that you get a secondary stand alone gauge to further investigate your findings.

ya i just did that as a base just for the hell of it i need to get an actuall pressure gauge and tap into it but just thought i would ask kinda freaked me out a bit to see that kind of pressure

The DSM doesn't report oil pressure over the DLC interface.

If your running MMCd your looking at something one of the coders was hoping they could build add-on hardware for and sell. There are several other sensors show in MMCd that aren't part of the actual 1G suite.
