How about Redline MT-90 and Syncromesh together?

yup yup, I've the most lubricated tranny in the DSM community and my secret is the bolt right under where I guess they're called shift linkages go over and connect to the tranny. what is that hole for? I thought I had some super heavy duty tranny

yeah, and now I'm starting to gear oil...

I'm not sure I understand. Did the fluid come out of the transmission or is it still inside it? I'm tempted to go outside and check the top of my tranny for anything that looks like you could fill. Gosh, could you imagine, what if you somehow filled up the airspace the clutch occupies? But I guess your inspection window would have started pissing out fluid in short order.

seriously? none of you have seen the bolt I'm talking about? rather than positioned horizontally, its vertical and it is kinda below the coolant temp sensor. need me to take a pic?

It sounds like you are talking about the bolt that holds one of the shift rail components in place (or shift rail detent maybe?), IIRC.

EDIT:

I believe it's this one:

now what the heck is that bolt for if not dumping a gallon of gear oil? it took it like a champ. didn't even burp. can't imagine what else its for. doesn't matter tho. looks I've got some synchronizer issues.

Look closer at the picture in the post right above yours.

As synthetek mentioned, put something under your fill plug (that holds about a gallon of fluid), and remove the fill plug with the car on level ground. That should drain about $80 worth of RP out of your well-lubed tranny. When it stops coming out, put the fill plug back in and call it done.

Hopefully you haven't done any damage to it by submerging something continuously that shouldn't be.

all I see is a bunch of strange bolts and stuff. thanks tho. what is that program btw? I now see where I am supposed to check the oil level. but wouldn't that hole I used be better(easier to access) to pour the oil rather than the hole to check the level? ... at least I can save the oil for my next change.

I just use a funnel with a tube on it, works great, I guess you could do it your way but it's just an extra bolt to take out.

It's the ASA program, it is what the dealership will use to find part numbers. It is a very very helpful tool. I use it all the time, it's kinda fun to look around at all the diagrams, and a must have if you need lots of OEM part numbers.

Oh and ASA stands for, Aftersales-support-application

its what cute girls in grade and highschool used to say back in the day and its just a dang cool little word that has sat in my head many years waiting to be sung. fortunately this moment won't won't make light within my off internet social circles and I may only have to endure taunting and teasing from you guys whenever I choose to read it. but alas I suspect I just may bring the old word back in style. don't be afraid to say it to yourself. co-ink-eee-dink. you can even mix it up if you choose... co-ink-eee-dank! and it still retains its original signature flavor but with YOUR twist. co-unk-uh-dunk... you get the idea. now your turn...

If you don't already have one, I suggest picking up a Haynes repair manual for the car. It identifies the correct bolts for filling and draining and lots of other information that can be helpful when working on your car. Price is $10-$12 and easily worth it.

of I havE one already and if you'd read any of my threads you'd know how much I hate it. and I did read that section and it did say the plug would be on the front of the transfer case, but I guess I just saw this other plug that I figured was it, since often things don't totally match up with the book, and I didn't imagine that plug was for anything else, which still for what it is I don't know, but no matter.
