horrible hesitation problem help

ok idk whats wrong ive tried 3 different maf's new plugs and nothing work. what happens is the i give the car enough gas to geyt going an then the stock boost guage will read 14psi and the car studders and backfires and doesnt want to move.

also if i unplug my maf the car runs great

Check to make sure all your piping is secure and not leaking. The problems you're having are similar to when I lost a inter-cooler connection for a while on my car.

sounds like a boost leak to me. if it is a very large leak it could be tough to find if it is behind or under something. look them over again under pressure with soapy water spray. also could be a bad exhaust leak. sea foam is the best way i have found to find exhaust leaks. the stock boost gauge is not an actual measurement, its a calculation based on throttle position and rpm/load. when you do your boost leak test make sure you do at least 15psi on your real boost gauge in the car so you know you are putting enough pressure into the intake to reveal a leak. common spots are the bov flange, and the throttle body.

ive done a BLT at 20 psi and i hold pressure just fine. exhaust leqak is possible i just put my 3" exhaust on, but dont hear any leaks

just did another blt and fixed a slight leak at j pipe car is running somewhat better but still didnt fix anything, anyone have any ideas im clueless
