Horn Problems

Hey I noticed the other day that the two horn buttons are really hard to push to actaully make the horn go off. It's like you have to press on them at a certain angle to make them work. Has anyone ever experienced this or no how to fix the problem maybe, if fixable? Thanks -JT

Take the steering wheel apart and check both buttons. Mine were bad and I had to go to the junkyard to replace them.

I know a lot of DSMs horns dont work because water gets in the engine bay and then the horn doesnt work. I would say about 75% of the DSMs i've owned, the horn doesnt even work.

Yeah, I have that same exact problem. Never got around to fixing yet though.

Ya I too have the same problem. It seems to be a common enough problem they posted a tech article on it, so here ya go...http://www.dsmtuner.com/forums/showthread.php?t=157600, although I still have yet to getting around to doing it.

My horn doesn't work either, nor does my reverse lights, it idles too high, etc. etc.

Always something to do on this car.
