There's absolutely nothing wrong with the stock one, do you have a reason for hooking it up?

Pin #21 on your ecu is your Crank Angle Sensor (RPMs) So I'm pretty sure if you tag onto that you should get a signal, but check the manuals of the manufacturer or find install directions that should have came with it.

well anyways... my taco-meter on my guage cluster dont work due to an engine swap. so i got an aftermarket TACHOMETER im going to use.
i would much rather use the stock one if it would work. unless i can wire the stock tachometer directly to the source. on the back of the cluster there is 3 contact points for the stock tach, ig+ gnd and tach.
id assume ig+ is a positive power source, gnd is a suitable ground and tach would go to pin 21 cas on the ecu connector as jebus said.

well, if you swapped in a turbo 4g63 motor, then you should be able to just get a 2g turbo gauge cluster and hook that up, right?

i meant 1g... or whatever year you have.

well if i had a 2g maby, but i do have a 1g turbo guage cluster im going to swap out to see if it works. but if it dont work either, i just wanna know how to hook 1 up by rewiring it or an aftermarket 1.
