I was thinking about making my own intercooler piping out of that flexable intake pipe that summit sells. I know it will look kinda corney, but so cheap! I was woudering if the flexable pipe will hinder my performance, they say that it has a "spiral flow for increased airflow" Unfortunately the smallest diameter is 3" so that would give me some pressure drop right? I have an intercooler set up for short route pipeing. What do you guys think?

That is kinda what I was thinking, what I will probably end up doing is having an exhaust shop mandrel bend me some custom pipes, they can't charge that much for it you would think.

mandrel bending is expenscive, and your average exhaust shop doesnt have a bender. They can do crush bends for you though. Id suggest either asking shops if they have any scrap mandrel bends that they will give you or sell you cheap. Or you can get mandrel bent peices through jegs or something, maybe JCwhitney as well. Check out your setup, measure and draw out what you need. for straight peices you can go to HOMEDEPOT and get fence post. Then if you dont want to weld, get some silicone couplers. Have fun!
