Hole in engine right under starter shooting oil

Ive had an oil for long time and took it too a mechanic and he said that there is a hole in the back of block right under the started where there should maybe be a bolt or something. Does anybody have a picture of there particular area. Its shooting oil out so it canbe good. He said that the threads look like maybe a 3/8 size.

I had the same problem when I removed all my emissions and installed my clutch this winter. Except I think it was a bolt hole above/ right next to the starter.(close to the balance shaft i beleive) I had a bunch of misc. bolt laying around and I threw one in the hole with some RTV on the thread and a big washer around it. I actually did take a picture of it with my disposable camera but I havent used up all the film yet to get it developed. How did you not notice this before? mine would leave a nice pile of oil whenever I stopped.
