HKS Recirculation kit

So this "kit" from HKS is over $50 and I was wondering, what is making this "kit" so expensive. Doesn't the kit for our cars only include a small fitting, a hose, and two hose clamps?

because they had to do R&D just so a small group of people(us) can have it. Take a look at a 1g/2g BOV and then look at the HKS BOV, then ask your self how the F**k am I going to recirculate this shit.

Well I already bought the fitting for $15 on ebay, I'm probably going to just find a tube and get 2 hose clamps for less than $5 .

I usually fly with you dragon but this time I gots to slay you. The HKS is a pull type BOV(you know this) so it acts like a vacuum, the more boost you run the tighter it seals, there is no BOV that comes mechanically close to this thing.

Hey whats going on guys i bought this same kit a lil while ago and it's sitting in my trunk.. I want to put it on but there's one little problem... I bought the HKS SSQV or whatever it is when it first came out like the second day and the kit don't fit it because that triangle looking bracket is blocking me to kook it up can anyone help.. Am i suppose to cut the tri bracket off???

Isn't the Synapse BOV similar to it? Except it uses an actuating piston or whatever.

the only reason why other stuff is over priced.. the brand name tagged on it..and of course a monopoly if they are the only ones who make it.

buy one, go to a factory in china and tell them to reproduce it, and show you the true cost of how much something that simple cost, follow by selling it on ebay and make profits..

Are you talking about the silver fitting that looks like a Mercedes logo?

-Undo allen screws
-Remove BOV cover
-Remove gasket
-Remove fitting
-Replace with recirculation fitting
-Reinstall gasket
-Put bov back together
-Hook up necessary hoses
