G'day.
Video cameras!!! Who would have one??
We turned the recorder on but forgot the camera. Serves me right for using an old Video 8 camera with a small ccd for video.
Were in 4th position till co-driver was car sick, not in the car luckily, and we retired. Officialdom did not allow me to use another co-driver for rest of the event so I became 'fast sweep' with another bloke in the silly seat. Still drove the stages but had no times recorded.
The stages were on private property, made by a bloke with a grader, never been so busy in a rally car...second-third-second-third-second-third...left lock-right lock--left lock-right lock. arms and shoulder are stinging today. VR4 went well, no damage and will now be readied for APRC round at the end of July.
Will post some pics.
