High temp/no heat/ and other bad stuff...please help!!!

I have never had any problems with my engine temp then out of no where i notice im ALMOST OVERHEATING also my heater went from being burning hot to being ice cold and i dont know whats wrong both my fans are working, Aside from the temp problems now i noticed that once i start the car it idles high and then when it is in neutral or in park the engine keeps revving from 1k rpms to like 2.5k and back constantly revving up and down until i put it in drive and then it still revvs high but its constant and not fluctuating like in park or neutral.

what the #@%@ is wrong with my talon,

any and all help is greatly appreciated and sorry for bad punctuation

i dont know about the weird idle but the overheating and no heat could be a clogged coolant line or a bad heater core.

could be a bad thermostat.... on the idle, bad or clogged vac line or ICV might be going bad or a bad intake mani gasket

but since your not gettin any heat inside the vehicle, more then likely a bad heater core

I'm about to change the thermostat and see if it helps

a flush kit is only a few bucks you should give it a shot it never hurts to make sure you cooling system is clean.

Ok I have to change it tomorrow I lost the sunlight

I just got done putting in a failsafe thermostat and its still over heating and also its leaking radiator coolent from somewhere behide the Turbo water line's kinda in the area down from the radiator cap

i dont know about the weird idle but the overheating and no heat could be a clogged coolant line or a bad heater core.

When the person who had the car before me changed the radiator hoses he left the lower radiator hose bent pretty bad to the point where I know for a fact that its blocking water flow to a good extent could that be it.

I've been running it like that since I got the car and its never given me overheating problems

What will happen if I run the car without a thermostat
