Hello,

does anyone have any tips or advise on doing high pressure boost leak testing, up to 30 psi or so.

I'm not going to lie, it gets scary. Anything above 20 psi and things start to make that cracking sound, and then usually my boost leak tester would pop off with a huge blast! And freak the living **** out of me. I pretty much have to keep holding it in there with my hands. I don't even bother using those rubber couplings from hope depot anymore, they would just swell up and come off.

I was thinking of maybe tapping into the intake manifold vaccum line instead, while having full intake on the car. But not sure if that would make it better or worse to test with.

Any advise guys?

A friend?? I wish i had one. I guess i'll have to figure something out. Thanks though
