i searhced on this and didnt find much for answers, i just bought my third dsm, its a 94 awd laser. it has a brand new turbo, an engine with a rebuilt head and new shortblock that have about 60k on them and hte car itself has 131k. heres a little back ground, i bought the car with a bakc brake line broke and had to drive it back with just an e brake:notgood:, the abs light has been on since i bought it, and it had prettymuch the whole flex section missing so it was just a straight pipe. my problem is that when im driving above about 14 or 15 mph it idles itself up to a little under 3k with the clutch in and it just feels like the gas in on a little with it out. i just put a new 3 inch dp and custom bent 3 inch exhaust on which i thought might help it but it didnt. i thought it might have been the cruise because that doesnt work so i unplugged the actuator which did nothing. its bone stock aside from the exhaust and i removed the bcs restrictor and hacked the aircan. it idles perfect right around 750 when it sitting still. also i got a code for my o2 sensor when the exhaust was still open, but since i got that fixed it hasnt come back but im replacing it soon anyway. someone said it might have to do with the abs? im not sure this is my first dsm with abs, id rather not have it but the car was an amazing deal($750 with a clean body and interior). i need to figure this out as soon as possible because the clutch is pretty much gone and this forces me to slip the clutch between gears:( thanks guys
