MegaView Digital Dashboard for MegaSquirt

There's another option, I'm not sure if it is worth your time or money, but a MS and the display can be had for about $300 total. You can put it in your dash and nobody will ever know. Plus you'll have a stand alone to control... whatever you'd like.

Those are kinda cool too, but they cost more than a squirt and they can't control your engine.

Gauges are a lot easier, but some people like being different. It will also be something a thief has never seen before and likely wouldn't know what to do with.

@boostingst That is win bro

I, too, was worried about messing up my interior with gauges and was looking for a clean look. I had to give in to the A pillar option because I have to have them, but boostin has the best "sleeper/not f up the car yet be functional" setup with that idea.

I saw somewhere in the forums where some guy gutted his gauge from the cup and mount entirely. He shaved out a small hole just big enough to see the numbers (electronic boost gauge) in the empty space below the radio. It was a very clean fitment and all you could see were the boost numbers running within a tiny opening and the unnecessary size of the gauge was deleted.

Amazon.com: 95 - 99 Mitsubishi Eclipse Gauge Cluster: Automotive

Fits on the gauge cluster, I met a guy who just slid his on and lined the fitting with electrical tape so he could get it to fit snug with out needing any drilling or anything else to hold it on.

It's in a great spot and the gauges don't block anything.

This is the route I am going. It doesn't fit perfectly like the OEM bezel but it's not bad.

Lurker has a pretty cool spot for his gauge. :thumb:

Have you considered hiding it in the center console box? That way when you want it completely out of sight when you want it out of sight. Again though, it is not easy to see when you want to actually use the gauge. And that can be a driving hazard.

4Lurker's install looks very clean, definately a good unique spot. Like others have posted here, I use the pod that goes around the gauge cluster. If I didn't have the a-pillar, I don't think anyone would really notice. The gauge face looks almost the same as the stock overlay, so they really blend in.

Another option would be to get the gauges that black out when they are off; might help them blend in even more so potential thieves might miss them.

Some clean installs here.

Since I'm ECMlink equipped, my boost gauge is on my laptop and the boost sensor is installed under the hood. There is nothing to see with the laptop stored under the passenger seat. There's also nothing to look at during a pull, but I find that boost gauges are unnecessary. That they're sometimes inaccurate only lessens their value.

The car a few posts above is clean, and I don't judge other peoples setups, but personally I would hesitate to leave it unattended..

Nice powerband by the way :)

I'd also vote for the 2 gauge instrument cluster bezel. With the proper gauges (that look like stock), this setup really doesn't stand out & it places the gauges where their easy to see. Its not so bad on a midly modified car but when you start running big boost you'll find you want to keep your eyes on the road, not trying to read what your gauges say in a hard to read location. I run this setup with boost & oil pressure gauges, boost & air/fuel is also logged. I origionally had a 3 gauge pillar pod as well but ditched that for a more stock look.

Yea im kind of going for the sleeper look, also the interior of the car is mint so I feel like getting one of the pods would ruin it. But you make a good point that it would be a bit dangerous to be out of sight.

You can get an after market Bezel that has 2 gauge pods in it.... check Ebay they have glowshift and OBX Bezels i just ordered the OBX one, should be good, that way its out of view from potential racers... and very easy to read while driving. and easy clean installation (no cutting or ripping, just two screws and the adhesive strip.):thumb:
