Hey everybody, found this forum on google, it looks really interesting, so i thought id join and post up some info about my ride

im in Australia, and i drive a 94 GSR 4 wheel drive, i dont think you guys have them there, originally it comes with the 1.8L 4G93 turbo motor, but mine has the 2.0L 4G63T conversion..

some of the mods include, air filter, fuel pump, bov, forged internals, front mount intercooler, ems ecu, apexi boost controller, boost gauge, momo steering wheel/gearknob, and other stuff..

it made 217kw@all 4 wheels, which is about 305hp

one question.. does my air filter look like its in a bad place?

anyway, just thought id share that info, this looks like a cool forum, hopefully i can get lots of info here (i dont think my 4g63 should differ much to a US 4g63??)

EDIT: its the 4g63 from a VR4, not from an EVO

your battery is where our air filter goes... but, what ever works.

yeah but i was thinking it should be up behind the battery, since thats where the vent is on the evo bonnet, and where the standard filter is on the 4g93

are there any big differences in the 4G63T that you guys have in America, compared with the one here in Australia? like, does the fact that one is for a LHD car and one is for a RHD car have any difference in how the engine is built or anything?

Am i allowed to upload those photos to the photo album, my car isn't on the list of allowed cars, i guess because you guys dont have it there, so im just wondering if mine would fall under a category that is there?

if its 4wd and nonturbo originally i think the only us car that had that combination was the galant gsx.. but that was a 2.0 i think.. and not the eclipse body.. sooo... i guess eclipse gsx would be what you are now, since you are 4wd on the 4g63.. yeah, that sounds right

originally its turbo as well, just with the 4g93 engine, but yeah, i guess now its the equivalent of an eclipse gsx, confusing
