Hey Anyone Has problems with Passenger Side Air Bag

I just wanted to know if anyone with a 2g has experienced the pass. airbag peeling open around the edges and wut they did to fix it.cos im having that problem and it doesnt look good .Any suggestions
I tried gluein it dint work so...........

I have experiences with the problem no idea how to fix it yet though. One question though do you have the airbag still in tact. My airbags are all gone so I figured its like that because the airbags went off previously.

This is a common problem with all 2g dsm's. Most people use some high strenght epoxy or some type of 3m substance (forgot which). I have grown tired of mine peeling off as well. I purchased one of those carbon fiber pieces to replace the stock one. Do a search and you'll find this topic quite abit.

so that means u dont have a pass air bag if u used the cf piece or wut and where did u get it from pls so i can try it

yeah that was happening to mine but since i used some epoxy it isnt as bad as before. it is pretty much glued down now except for the edges. the only thing i would have done differently is to leave the car in the sun for a while or heat the material if u can so u can get the edges down. other wise the edges are hard to press down and make it impossible for the glue to hold it down.

i wanna hear more about the CF replacement though. can we keep the aig bag and still use it?

Everyone that gets in my car starts to pull on it and are like did this thing go off? Pisses me off!

do a quick search and you will find quite a few threads regarding this, and also the solution to the problem. It has been talked about before.
