whenever i accelerate hard sometimes my car will go, then hesitate, then goes on as if nothing happened is this because of my blowoff valve? it is NOT rescirculated. also i have a stock turbo and it goes up to 20 psi then back down is this normal i dont have a boost controller so i dont know how it just raises by itself or is this a problem? thanks, btw my car is automatic

Sounds like your hitting fuel cut because of your boost creep. Check all your vaccum lines from your BOV and wastegate and sofourth. If they're all in a good shape, then check your wastegate actuator and make sure it's opening up.

You may want to buy a cheap-o ebay MBC, or make one yourself. You can find tons of threads on DSM Tuners about making your own MBC. If it comes down to it, you may end up having to port your turbine housing out to get rid of the boost creep. Atleast, that'd probably be the cheapest way to go.

As for the hesitation, try recirculating for a bit and see if it fixes it. If not, then let your car idle and see if you hear it missing at all. That could indicate fouled plugs from running vented or bad plug wires, which would cause it to hesitate or stutter at certain points under acceleration.

Also, when was the last time you changed your fuel filter? If it wasn't lately, you could look into that aswell.

Hope this was helpful. If none of this fixes your problem, post back and we can try to help out a little bit more.

the plugs and wires are new maybe about 2 weeks old, i havent changed the fuel filter ive had the car for about 2 months now i plan on taking it to a mitsui dealership to have a diagnostic check done to make sure everything is good before i start anymore modding

Try getting that boost lower by running a vacuum line strait from the source on teh compessor housing to the wastegate. My freind was having the same problem with boost creep on the stock turbo. We did this and it eliminated the problem. Try that and let us know what happens :thumb:
