Hi i have a question for you 1g guys. I have a 94 talon es nt. 2.0
Well what i was reading on this sight is that i have a 7bolt. Becuse it was bilt after 92. But i was reading a form on how to turbo it and they said there was 3 nt 4g63's. That is ,,,,f. A 6 bolt nt. .....k,,m that are 7 bolts. Well they said check the 4th or 5th diget on the vin and it will tell you. My 5 th diget it a F. How is it a 6bolt. Its a 94 please help iam confused. Lol thanks

The letter "F" was designated for the 4G63 Turbo

The letter means what motor you have under the hood. If it was a "B", it'd be the 1.8L, but you (which should be an "E", instead of the "F" ) showing a 2.0L NT.

Go look on the sticker on the lower driver's door pillar and you will see the month and year the vehicle was built in the upper right hand corner of the label.

If your vehicle was built after June of 92, then it's pretty sure you got a 7 bolt under the hood.

Another way is too look at the oil pan in front of the motor. If the upper lip goes straight across the front behind the crank pulley, it's a 6 bolt. But if the pan's lip takes a curve below the crank pulley, then it's a 7 bolt.

1994 Talon ES 2.0NT were definitely 7 bolt motors

Yeah 94's had 7 bolts. I have owned a 94 N/T.

They changed from 6 to 7 in 1992.5, I actually own a 1992.5 7 bolt talon. Let me say it was a surprise.
