Help with these serial #'s on tranny.

Ok guys, Recently my tranny blew in my 98 GSX a/t so i picked up one from a junkyard and put it in. That one didnt work so i found this ebay vendor called Japanese Engines INC. I took the trip out and picked up a "JDM" imported tranny. It deffinately looked like the motor and trans where imported becasue it had a little tag on it and the radiator cap warning was written in Japanese (the motor and tranny were still together when i got there). The motor had a 13g on it a TD04L. But the serial #'s on the one i got dont match the one on my original trans, the #'s on my old tranny are W4A33K1FNQ and the ones on the new one are W4A331FP6. Now i know that W4A33 is the code for AWD a/t trannys but am not sure about the rest. He gave me the TQ converter, starter, flexplate, and starter plate and half shaft with the new tranny but im still wondering about what kind of car this came out of and if there is big difference? Is there a serial number on the trans? Like the one that would have been off the vehicle the trans came from?
