what is your car doing that you need the idle air control?
if it is idling extremly bad the you might have lost your idle control screw
check to see if you have a hole right by the air intake on the throttle body
 
Those lower curved control arms are called lower compression arms. I picked the right one up at the junkyard, was kinda rusted, had it sandblasted by the junkyard, ran me 60$ total.

Standing infront of the car with the driver side on your right, take your finger and point to the left strut tower, then slide your finger over 6" to the right and a few inches up. That big grey thing is the throttle body. Your intake is connected to it
