I just bought a 98 GSX, the guy I bought it from gave me some cool parts with it. Already installed would be.. EVO 16g Turbo, Intercooler, HKS sequential blow off valve and a 3" cat back exhaust. Included but not installed were 750cc injectors, 255 walbro fuel pump, and of course a DSMlink V3. I got the software installed on my computer but I can't find anything on here or google on how to installed the chip that came with it. I found some stuff on the ECM Tuning site on how 95-97 ECu's need converted to EPROM. It doesnt cover what I need to do for a 98 GSX. Anyone want to help me get this thing working or point me in the right direction?

Or a 97. My ecu wasnt chipped but it was the last year that could be converted to socket. Cost a bit more so i agree with the above statement: Grab a 95 or 96, itll save you &150 or so

E-mail Thomas or Dave and let them know you want to get registered for the Link forums. It'll help later when you start tuning and you can also find out if they have any EPROM ECU's in stock if your ready to buy (It'll have the chip socket already installed for you to put the ECM Link Chip there).
