i have a six bolt in my 97 gs-t its got about 70k miles on it, from a gvr4... as soon as the 6 bolt swap was done the car drove fine for the most part, i had a few bugs to work out and some idle surge and whatnot...

but just recently i have noticed that my idle load is 15% and when i press the clutch in it jumps to 21% then varies between that 21 all the way up to 30... so i was starting to get pissed that i just bought a 6 bolt and 100 miles later it decides to crank walk on me... but when i make sharp left hand turns my clutch pedal doesnt come soft or stick to the floor, and when i have a buddy press the clutch in i can feel no play at the harmonic balancer no matter how hard i push or pull... at first idle would only drop 200-300 rpms, but now i have the idle set at 1500 and it drops to about 750 when the clutch is in, but sometimes stalls...

so im pretty sure it doesnt have crankwalk because its a 6bolt and other signs dont point to that... could the flywheel be loose or warped? or could the clutch be bad what could cause there to be more load on the engine with the clutch depressed than with the clutch engaged?

the thing is i hear no grinds or ticking and getting into and out of gear is no problem.... so i dont know where to look. im thinking of trearing the bi*** apart and taking a look at the flywheel and clutch because thats the only thing i can think of that would cause this problem...

tps, mmmmmmmmm i dont think so...

the motor actualy is getting more load, there is nothing electronic about the clutch system that would trick the ecu into giving less gas and making the rpms drop and calling it extra load...

the only thing that could be giving extra load is something loose that throws off the balance of the motor when the clutch is disengaged... other than crankwalk... if i am so wrong please correct me...

i have searched and searched and i cant find anyone who has had this clutch in rpm drop problem and have it not be crank walk, however in this case there are no other symptoms of c-walk and its a 6 bolt....
