NEED HELP:

I have a 97 Spyder GS-T, recently i bent my valves and decided to buy a new motor for my car. I bought a motor from Attarco motor distrubuting and found out that the motor was a first gen. 7 bolt 4G63 big block with no oil return hole in the oil pan, in addition the oil pump was much smaller when compared to a friend's first gen. talon. My friend's first gen. block has the number of ->4G63- MP2775<-, and somehow i could not make mine out but it showed ->4G63-XXXX7<-. I learned that in Japan both turbo and non-turbo are identical (I am assuming the motor I bought is a J-spec. non-turbo) the only different is the compression ratio. Some how I called Attarco, but the guy I spoke with dont know shit, yet he is sure it is a turbo motor....I need your opinion ASAP

please respond here or at [email protected]

thanks

are pistons dished? if they are then its a turbo. also if your tearing it down..look to see if there are oil squiters. only the turbo motors have them. btw: when i say dished..i mean dished, if you look at a n/a motor pistons, they are dished but very slightly.
