HELP! Smoke coming from oil and driver's side engine mount area

I was putting in some oil today and when i unscrewed the cap, smoke came from inside the engine. I put in some oil and drove it around to check the temp and it was hotter than usual (was about 3/4 of the way up, usually half way) so i decided to see if it got hotter under boost and it is now in the warning area. When i opened my hood, tons of smoke was coming from the driver's side engine mount area. What is going on? Thermostat? radiator? que pasa? thanks in advance.

my best guess sense its on the drivers side area would be something waterpump related
