okay i just took my gst for a cruise around and i parked it and let it idle for a few minitues i started to see like smoke from heat coming out from under the hood. it is about 30 degree ouside.. so i popped the hood and it looked like smoke was coming from the radiator but it smelled like oil.. the car was runninng just fine no problem.. a few weeks ago my dipstick poped out and oil spilled everywhere could it just be oil that spilled everywhere that is just burning off.? or could it be worst. mind i havent changed the oil in awhile should i change the oil before i store it for winter?

I'd be curious as to why the stick popped out in the first place, how's oil pressure?
Also it could just be the oil burning off, however the radiator doesn't get too hot. You should try and pin point where its coming from. Also how's the coolant level?

Dipstick blowing out is a common problem. Try to clean up the excess oil as much as possible and see if it keeps up or if it goes away. Put a clean piece of cardboard or something similar under it when you park it to see if it's actually leaking.

oil pressure is fine same with coolant levels are fine. when my dipstick poped out oil went all over by the radiator and all. i wiped some oil off but i couldnt wash it because its pretty cold outside to go to the carwash. i will put cardboard under too check for leaks. but i have a crappy dipstick that is loose and when i was running the car pretty hard i poped off only when im boosting really hard. also i will try and pinpoint and let you know asap.

I am agree with knewblewkorvett .

Check your PCV, if it is not operating good, It will let boost to go into the crank case, and cause a high pressure and pup that dipstick out.

If PCV is OK, Then you have blow by, and a catch can is required.

Forgot to mention.

Wash out and Dry clean very well all the engine and engine bay, specially at the exhaust, which is were heat is, If it gets a tiny drop of oil on it, It will smoke and smell kind of bad.
A tiny drop of oil burning on the manifold, will make it looks works then it is.

The dipstick popping out is caused by "blow by" which could mean that you just need a catch can.

A catch-can will only solve a by-product of blow-by.... Don't see how it could prevent his dipstick from popping out.
