Help, noise coming from car when its off #2

I just wanted to let u guys know that it was the ABS pump relay thats stuck on it and i had to make a new post since my other post got jacked over and closed... but anyway all i did was pull the abs fuse in the engine compartment and it stopped. Now its driveable till i can get the damn thing fixed instead of burning out the abs pump. just an fyi

did you replace the fuse with the same amp. fuse? If you are putting too much juice to it that would blow the circut.

Looks to me like he pulled the fuse to disable it until he can get it properly fixed. I don't see anything indicating that he put a larger fuse in.

island03gst: did you try to replace the relay? Also, if you are interested here is a link to show you how to remove the ABS system on a 1g. There could be some differences on a 2g but, this could help you in the right direction. Good Luck!

thanks man, not gonna have any time this month for my car so im just gonna take it into a shop and have them replace the relay along with my tie rod

No problem, Just figured I'd pass the info along as a good number of DSMers remove the ABS system. Good Luck!
